My Favorite Free Resources for Social Media

My Favorite Free Resources for Social Media

Hey y'all! It’s Makenzie, ready to share some of my favorite free resources for social media. A lot of these could seem like no brainers but if you're here you probably need the healthy reminder that they exist and are more than enough to help you!!!

CapCut: Easy Video Editing and Templates

First up is CapCut. If you’re looking for a user-friendly video editing tool, this one’s a game changer. CapCut makes editing videos so easy with its templates and user friendly editing. Whether you’re creating short clips for Instagram or longer videos for YouTube, CapCut can do it.

Canva: A 2-Year Old Could Make A Graphic On Canva...

Next on my list is Canva. Seriously, this tool is a lifesaver. Canva lets you create graphics with minimal effort. From social media posts to marketing materials, it has templates for everything. You don’t need to be a graphic designer to make professional-looking designs. Just drag, drop, and customize. Trust me, once you start using Canva, you’ll wonder how you ever managed without it.

Notion: Ridiculously Easy and Organized Scheduling

Let’s talk about staying organized. As someone with ADHD (who doesn't have ADHD nowadays...lets be real) Notion is my go-to for scheduling posts and keeping track of tasks. This tool is super flexible, allowing you to use it for whatever you need it for. Whether you’re planning a content calendar, always forgetting things you have to do, or tracking projects, Notion keeps everything neat and tidy. Plus, it’s super satisfying to see all your tasks laid out clearly.

ChatGPT: Your Best Friend

Of course, I have to give a shout-out to ChatGPT. When it comes to generating content ideas and finding keywords, this tool is a godsend. It’s like having a brainstorming buddy who’s always ready to help. Whether you’re stuck on what to post or need some fresh ideas, ChatGPT can give you that much needed starting point. It’s a great way to kill that content creators version of a writers block.

YouTube: The Ultimate Tutorial Library

Last but definitely not least, YouTube. If you’re ever in doubt about how to do something, chances are there’s a tutorial on YouTube for it. From creating content calendars to scheduling social media posts and mastering each platform, YouTube has a tonnnnnnn of information.

The Importance of Learning as You Go

Remember, you don’t need to know everything from the start. Social media is a constantly evolving landscape, and the best way to navigate it is to learn as you go. Don’t stress about being perfect right out of the gate. Use these free resources to build your skills and grow over time. Do what you can, learn from your experiences, and keep improving. That’s how you’ll truly succeed in the long run.

Go slay the day!!!

Peace and love, Mak
